A changing world, outdated VC analyses
Hello Reinv, you are developing a new ESG tool, if I understand correctly?
How original !
At Reinv, we do not deal with compliance or regulations.
We offer you a genuine STRATEGIC management tool..
Well, I find it difficult to understand why ‘natural capital’ is not an ESG issue.
In fact, I would find it difficult to define it properly.
In fact, it is one of the many topics covered in ESG, but not in the right way (in our opinion). We are trying to breathe new life into it and restore its strategic importance.
We like this definition:
‘Stock of renewable or non-renewable natural resources that generate benefits for society and the economy’.
Simple. Basic.
All right, but I can tell you that as an investment fund, when we analyse start-ups, that’s the least of our concerns!
This is also what we found when conducting our market research!
However, the new risks arising from the degradation of natural capital
affect the entire economy.
For start-ups, this is very concrete: from inputs to operations, regulations and alternatives.
Failing to analyse these issues with due diligence is like investing blindly.
Why not, but I already have a thousand other things to check, so I don’t have the time or expertise to be effective…
It must be said that there are many unknowns when it comes to entrepreneurship.
We are not trying to replace what you do, and we would not be able to analyse traditional due diligence criteria as well as you can.
We have noticed that you do not have the time (ghosting to the power of 10), which is fortunate because our analysis tool is 100% automated and based solely on scientific data. By accessing the project’s data room, we analyse its dependencies on natural capital and present them to you in the form of actionable indicators.
Shall we try it ?
